Traditional Chinese health cultivation refers to various methods to nurture life, enhance physical fitness, and prevent diseases, ultimately aiming for longevity. Emphasizing holism and systematic approaches, it focuses on disease prevention and treating illnesses before they manifest. A renowned representative work of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory is the “Huangdi Neijing” (Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon). On June 7, 2008, TCM health cultivation was approved by the State Council to be included in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage.
